The Solopreneur's Guide to Notion Project Management

How to manage multiple projects without burnout using a simple Notion system that adapts as you grow.

When you're a team of one, project management isn't about Gantt charts or burndown rates. It's about knowing what to do next without panic. I've tested Asana, Trello, and Todoist, but Notion won because I could tailor it to my brain.

My system has three views: a Kanban board for active projects, a calendar view for deadlines, and a table for everything. The trick is a 'Next Action' property that forces me to define the one thing that moves each project forward. No more ambiguous statuses like 'In Progress'.

If you're managing 5+ projects, I recommend creating a 'Project Hub' database with a rollup that shows total hours logged. This alone prevented me from overcommitting. For a ready-made version, check out my Client Project Manager template.
